Mark Allen Natalie Harris

WHEN pharmacists Mark John Allen and Natalie Charlotte Harris met, marriage proved the best prescription for their relationship. The wedding took place at St Mary's Church, Hay-on-Wye. Mark is the son of Terry and Christine Allen of Four Acres, Hereford, and Natalie the eldest daughter of Mike Harris and the late Lin Harris of Rivers Edge, Hay-on-Wye.

The bride, given away by her father, wore an ivory gown with Swarovski crystal and beading detail and carried cream and lemon roses with ivory freesias. The bridesmaids were Helen Clarke (friend) and Denise Harris (sister). The pageboy was Josh Bunning (bride's godson). Best man was Jim Wallis (bridegroom's friend) and Father Richard Williams officiated.

Mark plays hockey for Hereford Hockey Club and Natalie is a sharp shot with the Golden Valley Rifle Club.

Garry Abbotts Samantha Broadley

ST Mary's Church, Kington, was the venue for the marriage of Garry Abbotts, son of Mr and Mrs George Abbotts of Birmingham, and Samantha Jane Broadley, eldest daughter of Mr D Broadley of Kington, and Mrs Powell of Warwickshire.

The bride was given away by her father and wore a gown with crystal detail.

She was attended by bridesmaids Tina and Samantha Sheer (bridegroom's nieces), Sophie Bird (friend), Janey Barker (niece), Megan Wall (bridegroom's cousin) and Georgia Abbotts (bride and bridegroom's daughter).

Phillip Hill Catherine Bailey

The Graftonbury Hotel was the setting for the marriage of Phillip Brian Hill and Catherine Emma Bailey. The bride was given away by her father Martin Bailey and the bridesmaid was Gemma Davies, the bride's younger sister. The best man was Richard Hill, the groom's older brother.

A reception was held at the Graftonbury Garden Hotel before the couple left for their honeymoon in Lanzarote.

The wedding took place at the Three Counties Hotel, Hereford of Kenneth Bird, only son of Iris and the late Gerald Bird of Canon Pyon and Emma Price, only daughter of Angela Wainwright of Hereford.

The bride, given away by Daniel Price (bride's brother) wore an ivory gown with diamante detail and carried a bouquet of red roses. The bridesmaid was Katie Bird (daughter) and pageboy was Joshua Price (son). The best man was Martin Wainwright (bridegroom's friend).

The Three Counties Hotel, Hereford, was the setting for the wedding of Dean Melvyn Smalley, youngest son of Mr and Mrs M Smalley, of Hereford, and Emma Louise Campbell, only daughter of Mr and Mrs I Campbell, of Hampton Dene. The bride was given away by her father. The bridesmaid was Catlin Phillips and the pageboys were Joel and Archie Smalley.

Sean Hinton Trina Berry

FIREFIGHTER Sean Anthony Hinton donned ceremonial uniform for his marriage to Trina Kay Berry at the church of St John the Baptist, Suckley. Sean is the only son of Helen Hinton and the late Anthony Hinton, of Ipswich, and Trina the only daughter of Trevor and Sandra Berry, of Suckley. The bride, given away by her father, wore an ivory silk gown and was attended by maids of honour Rachael Berry, Sarah Hinton and Anita Gibbons. The best man was Ian Bliss. The bridegroom is based at Malvern and the bride is a manageress.

William May Amanda Price

WILLIAM Michael May, only son of Jenny Lees and step-son of Tony Lees of Preston-on-Wye, married Amanda Kathleen Price, only daughter of Trevor and Jean Price of Peterchurch at the church of St Lawrence, Preston-on-Wye.

The bride, given away by her father, wore an ivory gown and carried calla lillies. The bridesmaids were Esther Reynolds (friend), Danielle and Freya Gwynne (cousin). Pageboy was Harry Gwynne (cousin).

Best man was Andrew Morgan (friend) and the Rev Roger James officiated.

David Edwards Fiona Stell

THE wedding took place at St Lawrence's Church, Canon Pyon, of David James Edwards, son of Phil and Mavis Edwards, of Belmont, Hereford, and Fiona Grace Stell, daughter of Steve and Jean Stell, of Bush Bank, Canon Pyon.

The bride, given away by her father, wore an ivory satin gown with crystal beading and embroidery, and carried a bouquet of ivory and lilac roses.

The matron of honour was Helen James (bridegroom's sister), the bridesmaids were Amelia, Charis and Rebecca Morgan (bride's cousin's daughters), and the page boy was Henry Arnold (bride's godson).

The best man was Richard Gibbins (bridegroom's friend) and the Rev Michael Cluett officiated.
