Businesswomen from across the region teed off in style at a new networking forum set up by Black Country solicitors Waldrons and Birmingham finance company Liquidity.

The first event for the 'Females and Business' (FAB) club was held at Bromsgrove Golf Club, where about 20 women enjoyed a networking lunch and received golf tips from the club's professionals.

FAB aims to attract female business owners and higher level staff from the Dudley, Stourbridge, Hagley and Bromsgrove areas, giving them an opportunity to make contacts and discuss the issues they face at work - some of the bi-monthly meetings will be for fun, while others will be based around topical themes for businesswomen.

The next event takes place on November 30 at the Lyttelton Arms, Hagley, when award-winning hair stylist Edith Webster of The Hair Studio in Solihull will demonstrate how to make an impression with festive hairstyles.
