Le Spa

A BEAUTY treatment should leave you feeling totally relaxed as well as looking gorgeous - and Le Spa in Droitwich promises to offer its clients a friendly and comfortable environment in which to receive a range of therapies.

The Victoria Square salon is cosy and welcoming, with natural wood furnishings and soft lighting creating a homely atmosphere.

The four beauty therapists had worked together for a number of years before opening Le Spa in January this year, and already the new venture is proving successful, with the chatty, girlie ambience a large part of its appeal.

The popular Dermalogica facials offer personalised skincare to every client - a process known as "face mapping" locates the areas that require treatment so that the therapist can suggest the appropriate product.

The unisex Dermalogica skincare system uses only natural ingredients, and provides specific treatments for different skin types. Research and development into the range was carried out by the International Dermal Institute, a leading skincare authority.

The salon specialises in waxing, with a hot wax system used instead of the more painful strip wax treatment. "Because this salon is not intimidating in any way, our clients feel comfortable discussing their requirements for treatments like bikini waxing," says Le Spa's proprietor Julia Dormer.

Also on offer is the Creative Nails system - developed in the United States, promoted in many of the glossy magazines and worn by many celebrities - as well as massage, electrolysis and sunbeds, while Le Spa gift vouchers make an ideal present for a friend or loved one who deserves a bit of pampering.

The opportunity to enjoy a chat over coffee after your appointment is an obvious selling point for Le Spa, and with late opening on Tuesdays and Thursdays, plus the convenience of a town centre location, the popularity of this friendly salon looks set to continue.
