JON Brady has become Graham Turner's first summer signing at Hereford United.
The former Stevenage winger pen-ned a 12-month contract at Edgar Street as director of football Turner assembles a squad capable of clinching next season's Conference title.
In a strange twist, Australian-born Brady, 30, is almost certain to claim the right midfield role vacated by Danny Williams, who made the switch to Stevenage this week.
He made himself known among Bulls supporters in April when he set up Dino Maamria's equalising goal in the semi-final play-off at Broadhall Way.
Brady began his career in the Norweigan League and had stints at Swan-sea, Wycombe, Brentford and Hayes.
He then made a £40,000 move to Rushden, where he made 102 league appearances and picked up a Conference winner's medal, before moving to Woking and Chester.
Meanwhile, Craig Stanley became the last of Turner's retained players to commit himself to United, signing for a further 12 months.
