WHAT is it The Rev. Dr Colin Beevers and David James fear (Ledbury Reporter, May 27)? Dwindling church attendances or the fact that someone, other than church-sanctioned deities, perform acts of healing.
Which century do these people think they are living in? Religious intolerance is the cause of the majority of wars, yet here we have so-called Christians condoning scare tactics as used by many churches and religious leaders.
Have we not progressed at all? Why don't they just equip their followers with kindling as well as leaflets, then they could have a witch burning as well.
If you ask me, do I believe in God, supreme-being, creator and ruler of the universe, the answer is a resounding yes! And my God is tolerant.
