THE fun and games begin tomorrow (Saturday) at Pendock summer fete at Pendock School at 2pm.
The theme this year is the seaside. A sea-side quiz, priced £1, is available from school or Pendock Post Office. Teas and a barbecue, tombola, plant stall, cakes, toys, books, bottle stall, coconut shy, skittles and special raffles are laid on.
Also face-painting, hook-a-duck and many more activities for the children. Children's competitions - best dressed potato. Details from school and the potatoes will be judged on the day.
The triple H stall are hoping for donations of hats, handbags, hardly worn, good quality, new and nearly new clothes, scarves, jewellery for ladies, gentlemen and children. If you can help provide any of the above items, please contact Judi on (01531) 450258.
All proceeds from this event will benefit Pendock Primary School, Pendock Playgroup and Pendock Church.
