Bromsgrove Blaze 36 Kidderminster 14

BROMSGROVE Blaze Basketball Club's girls team sealed a comfortable friendly victory at the Ryland Centre last week.

Two baskets in a row by Kylie Mosley put Blaze in charge in the first quarter.

Emma Forrest also bagged two baskets, before Katie Dennison and Lisa Flanagan got in on the scoring.

Sophie Hazell probed throughout and set up several Bromsgrove attacks, while Izzie Collins completed the scoring in the opening quarter to make it 14-4.

In the second quarter Blaze kept up their aggressive play, which did not allow Kidderminster to settle.

Sarah Nixon and Amy O'Meara extended the scoring, while Lindsay Rowan and Leanne Clinton kept Kidderminster from scoring more than two points.

In the final two quarters Bromsgrove turned the screw on their Worcestershire rivals, with Natalie Smith, Callan Biggs and Alex Dallow scoring.
