AT THE halfway point in the season Stratford B are looking invincible as they lead the Premier Division listings by nine points from Inkberrow after both enjoyed 4-0 wins.

Third-placed Littleton A could only manage a draw and the rest are now out of sight.

Both Stratford pairs dropped only three games in their two rubbers in overcoming Claverdon.

Callum Bailey and Rob Slatter defeated Richard Butler and Brian Bayliss 6-2, 6-1 and Trevor Meinert and John Hutchings 6-0, 6-0.

Simon West and Mark Denby got the better of Meinert and Hutchings 6-0, 6-1 and then overcame Butler and Bayliss 6-1, 6-1.

Inkberrow also enjoyed a straight sets victory as captain Graham Rankin and Adam Hill beat Henley's Dave Howard and Tom Holland 6-2, 6-2, and Julian Morris and Mat Ross 6-3, 6-0.

Chris Baker and Alex Wood-bridge defeated Morris and Ross 7-5, 6-1 and Howard and Holland 6-4, 6-4.

Littleton and Stratford C drew 2-2 with the former's Sean Witheford and Dave Rudge beating Felix Adler and Mike Parsons 6-1, 6-0 and Richard Monk and Nigel Harries.

Andy Reynolds and Elliott Barrett, though, lost to Monk & Harries 2-6, 3-6, and Adler and Parsons 4-6, 6-7.

Newly promoted Shipston top the first division after 4-0 victories over Pershore and Littleton B.

FISSC are down to second after they were held to 2-2 draws by Tanworth and Pershore.

Bidford gained six points from eight in their last two matches beating Stratford D 4-0 and then drawing 2-2 with FISSC B.

Tanworth lie fourth thanks to a 3-1 win over Stratford for whom relegation looms large.

Division Two sees undefeated Evesham eight points clear of Aston Cantlow, who surprisingly lost to Stratford E 4-0.

At the other end of the table, meanwhile, Claverdon B lost 3-1 to Evesham and bottom club Ilmington were whitewashed by Alcester.

In Division Three, Moreton-in-the-Marsh are unbeaten at the summit following a 3-1 victory at the expense of Chipping Camp-den B.

Second spot is taken by Studley B despite a shock 4-0 defeat to Shipston B. Bidford B beat local rivals Littleton C 3-1 but both are still only just above basement side Henley B.

Snitterfield are dominating the newly formed fourth division after a 3-1 defeat of third in the table Whitnash 3-1.

Second-placed Ardencote Manor were leading 2-0 in a tight match with Ullenhall when bad light stopped play.
