Belbroughton win by eight wickets
BELBROUGHTON cruised to victory over struggling Worcester in the county league Division Two on Saturday.
Tom Higgins took 4-43 as the Nomads were kept to 178-8 in a rain delayed game.
Dan Attwood then struck 78 runs to guide the Tons to 182-2 for a vital victory.
The win moves Belbroughton up to fifth in the table.
Belbroughton take on Coombswood at home on Saturday (1.30pm start).
l Avoncroft got the better of Kings Norton on Sunday with an eight wicket victory.
Tight bowling by Mark Smith (1-17), Chris Skinner (1-8) and Scott Devlin (0-10) kept Kings Norton to 138-5 in 40 overs.
After a shaky start, where 'Croft slipped to 25-2, captain Matt Hare (43 not out) and vice-captain Andy Nicol (72 not out) forged a partnership of 116 to steer there side home with ten overs to spare.
