Wychavon District Council has launched a 24-hour telephone payment line. The automated service will allow customers, using credit and debit cards, to pay council tax, car parking fines and invoices at any time of the day, seven days a week.
Customer Services Manager Viv Keeble said: "This extra-automated service will mean customers can now settle their accounts without facing such problems."
She also said customers who prefer to speak to an operator or who don't have a touch-tone phone can still use the payment line from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday when an assistant will be on call on 01386 565200.
