LONE parents in Wyre Forest have been invited to take part in a series of workshops to help them progress into further learning and training.
The Big Brother Project is a two-week course run by Inspire to Independence - i2I - in partnership with Jobcentre Plus and the European Social Fund.
The purpose of the course is to give lone parents opportunities and inspire them to move forward as well as being the first step towards further learning, training and work.
Participants need to be unemployed lone parents, over the age of 18, who have been on benefits for at least six months.
The workshops run from next Monday to Friday. To register, contact Graham King, project manager on 07957 372456.
