At the May meeting, the resolutions were discussed and voted on. County adviser Christine Hickman- Smith was on hand to give information and answer questions.
The president and secretaries had attended a meeting to consider the practicalities of the changes to take place later in the year when Ipsley becomes one of a large group of 10 WIs to be called the Lenchton, Redditch and Saltways Group, rather than the present three WIs which constitute the Redditch group.
The 2006 Worcestershire Federation visit to Denman College will be held from March 10-12 and there will be a 90th birthday tea party at Hanley Swan Village Hall whenhats and pearls may be worn.
The winner of the flower of the month competition was Rose Dalgarno with a euphorbia
In the monthly competition for a fresh flower corsage, Janet Cottrill was first, with Margaret Smith and Judith Scott runners-up.
The next meeting will be on June 8 at Woodfield Middle School at 7.30pm and the speaker will be Muriel Clarke. The competition will be Strawberry Fare.
