COME along to Worcester Racecourse's premier meeting of the season on Saturday and enjoy a fantastic afternoon at the races!

The picturesque tree-lined location, on the banks of the river Severn, offers the perfect place to spend your afternoon, while enjoying the thrill of six jump races and one charity flat race out on the track as well as the Epsom Derby on a big screen.

The action gets under way at 2.10pm and admission starts from as little as £6 for the Centre Course, £11 for the Tattersalls Enclo-sure and £16 for the Club Members Enclosure. Und-er-16s accompanied by an adult are admitted free.

The charge for parking in the picnic car park is £ 5 per car.

Full details of group discounts and all other facilities are available by calling the Racecourse office on: 0870 220 2772.

Sunday racing returns to Stratford Race-course this month following several successful meetings in 2004.

The first of this weekend's six National Hunt races starts at 2.20pm with the afternoon's feature race being the Omar Homes Handicap Hurdle.

A National Hunt Flat Race ends the meeting and gets under way at 4.50pm.

Admission prices are Club £16, Tattersalls £12 and Centre course/picnic area £6. Accompanied children under 16 are admitted free to all enclosures.

There's a second dose of Sunday action on June 12 when Desert Orchid will lead a parade before racing, followed by further meetings on July 10 and 17.
