THE search is on for a new home for a 12-year-old crossbreed dog at a Catshill animal adoption centre.
Staff at Blue Cross, in Wildmoor Lane, are looking for loving owners for Oscar, who has spent much of his life on his own outside in a garden.
His advancing years mean he is being overlooked by visitors to the centre.
Centre manager Neil Edwards said: "Oscar deserves to spend the rest of his life in a comfortable loving home. He is one of our older dogs and it can be hard to rehome them. Puppies are cute but older dogs make loving, loyal pets who can still learn new tricks. If anyone can rehome Oscar they will be rewarded with an affectionate pet."
Anyone who can offer Oscar a home can contact the centre on 0121 453 3130.
