Chairman Betty Long welcomed 60 members and guests, particularly saying how nice it was to see Ida Parkinson back after her long illness. Members will be visiting Hergest Gardens on June 23.
Members heard that the annual summer dinner will take place on Monday, August 8, at the Wagon Wheel at Grimley.
Bernard Mills brought along a state-of-the-art method of showing slides, and gave a really interesting talk about the history of Kay & Co, Ltd., at Worcester.
The meeting closed at 9.45pm after coffee had been served.
