A SUMPTUOUS meal at a top restaurant is just one of the prizes up for grabs in a competition to find Redditch's best temporary worker.
Recruitment agency Pertemps is asking its clients to nominate their best temp as part of National Temporary Workers Week, which runs from June 6-10. The winner of the Redditch heat will receive £50 worth of shopping vouchers and be treated to a slap-up meal.
They will also be automatically put through to the national final of the event where a prize of £500 is on offer.
Helen Hibbert, manager of Pertemps in Church Green West said: "This is a chance for clients to recognise those temporary workers who have gone beyond the call of duty."
As part of National Temporary Workers Week, staff from Pertemps will be delivering cakes and chocolates to the employees on their books.
"It's just a small way for us to show how much we appreciate them," she added.
