AS the chairman of the refuse and recycling working group, I applaud the residents of Bromsgrove for making kerbside recycling a success. The service has improved immeasurably and households are now recycling over 30 per cent of their waste. I am aware that some homes are still not served by the full refuse and recycling service and I will be urging the district council to provide a uniform collection service without further delay.
Incidentally, the council now collects Type 3 PVC bottles in addition to Types 1 and 2 polythene - so now it's as easy as 1,2,3!
