Cutnall Green win by eight wickets

NEIL Fletcher came agonisingly close to his century as Green cruised to their first victory of the season in the Worcester League Division Four on Saturday.

Fletcher hit an impressive 98 to inspire to Cutnall Green to victory.

Dan Faulkener took 5-38 but Green's opponents gave themselves a good chance of victory by hitting 212 all out. Fletcher, Alan Morgan (53) and Charles D'Auncey (20) though were in fine touch and steered Cutnall to an impressive victory.

The win guided Cutnall to seventh in the table.

Green take on third placed Hanley Castle and Upton on Saturday away from home.

Old Halesonians 354-8 Himbleton 192 all out

Himbleton lose by 162 runs

HIMBLETON fell prey to a run feast by Worcester League Division Four leaders Old Hales on Saturday.

They were the victims of an emphatic batting display by Shah, who smashed 156.

Ghafoor (52) and Mayne (47) also inflicted more damage on Himbleton.

Murray did his best to reply with 51 runs, but his side was bowled out for 192 all out. Himbleton take on Rushwick away from home on Saturday.
