WYRE Forest Cycle Racing Club is holding the first "Easyriders" ride on Monday, from Stourport sports centre.
This is an introduction to cycling rides, and anyone interested in taking part should meet at the sports centre in the Kingsway, Stourport, at 6.30pm. The first ride will leave at 7pm, finishing at around 8pm.
The rides are to celebrate the club achieving "Go Ride" status, with newly-qualified coach Alan Griffiths, who will visit local schools along with British Cycling coaches, to let children try various aspects of cycling.
The rides are also aimed at anyone who likes to cycle, regardless of fitness or ability, as the ride will be a steady pace to suit everyone, on mainly quiet roads.
Children must be accompanied by an adult.
The club has around 60 members, but less than half of these actively race, the majority riding purely for leisure and fitness.
Anyone wishing to join the club will be offered free bronze membership to British Cycling.
