TOM Kenderdine won the Cobra Classic 14km multi-terrain event at Halesowen, completing the course in 49 minutes 27 seconds.

This time gave the Kidderminster and Stourport Athletics Club member a clear margin of more than a minute over the second-placed runner.

Emma Hornby and Amanda Cross represented the club's ladies section, Hornby coming fifth lady overall in one hour 4-04, and Cross a few places further back, as 10th lady overall in 1-12-03.

The club hosted the Worcestershire County Track and Field Championships, where they achieved 13 gold medals, eight silver and five bronze.

Senior man James Colclough and Under-17 lady Charlotte Berrington were crowned doubles champions.

Colclough won the 200m and 400m, while Berrington took the honours in the high jump and javelin, adding a silver in the long jump.

Silver medals: girls - Hannah Sparks (U-13 800m, 2-43-6), Samantha Cooper (U-15 long jump, 4.49m), Berrington (U-17 women long jump, 4.45m), Baker (senior women long jump, 4.67m); Morris (U-13 shot, 6.51m), Tom Sparks (U-17m 1,500m, 4-47-6), Gibbs (U-17 men 800m, 2-28-0), Aiden Dourneen (U-17 men 1,500m, 4-20-7).
