KIDDERMINSTER Cobras' West Midlands Premier Basketball League campaign has ended with mid-table respectability.
In finishing fifth out of 11 teams, the Cobras were unable to reach the heights of the 2003 season when they came third.
But despite a topsy turvy campaign this year's final placing was an improvement on last year when they could only manage eighth spot. Spokesman Mark Bonshor said: "Fifth was pretty creditable given that at Christmas we were languishing towards the bottom of the table.
"Not quite the heady heights of third place that we achieved in 2003 but nonetheless we didn't let Kidde-rminster down."
