DROITWICH is gearing up for the 2005 Sounds Music Festival.
This year's event will run from July 3 to July 15 and offer a wide variety of music.
The thirteen-day festival has 33 events booked with 14 different participating venues in and around the town.
Two open-air concerts and a Pop Icons Finale for young musicians are just some of the attractions.
Music from folk to jazz, brass to blues and classical to rock will all be on show for visitors.
A free brass band event in The Lido Park will kick off the event at 2.30pm on Sunday, July 3.
