SOME real "bobby dazzlers" could be available to shoppers heading to Malvern this weekend with the return of the Antiques and Collectors Fair.

The fair, on Sunday, June 5, will be held at the Three Counties Showground and provides an opportunity for people to treat themselves.

It has up to 200 stalls full of items such as textiles, glassware, silverware, jewellery, paintings and more.

And as it is indoors, if the British summer turns out as unpredictable as it usually is, it won't matter.

"Antiques are fabulous items," said a spokesman for dmg Antiques Fair, the company that is running the event.

"Individual and handcrafted, they ooze character and sophistication. So why not head to the Malvern Fair and pick up some beautiful additions to your home.

"The Malvern fair has up to 200 stalls selling everything from grandfather clocks to jewellery and has developed a reputation as one of the best places to buy quality items at realistic prices - of as David Dickinson would say, buy a real 'bobby dazzler' as 'cheap as chips'."

The bargain hunters' delight opens to the public from 10am and entry costs £2.

Early entry is available for trade buyers from 8.30am for an entry price of £4. Car parking is free.
