IT will be a tight 'squeeze' at Worcester's Marr's Bar on Sunday as audiences pack in to the venue to watch highly accomplished guitarist Nick Harper play a gig there.

The former Squeeze member's distinctive and soulful voice - as well as his guitar playing - has earnt him a substantial following over the years.

He made his musical debut in 1983 when he appeared on his father Roy Harper's Whatever Happened To Jugula? album - a collaboration with Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin fame.

His first solo release - Light At The End of The Kennel - was released in 1994 and, from there, he went on in leaps and bounds when he supported Squeeze front man and songwriter Glenn Tilbrook.

Tilbrook was so impressed, he offered Nick a job playing with the band.

Tickets for the gig are £8 in advance and £10 on the door.
