AN evening of literary readings is to take place at a Worcester church.
A programme at St Clement's Church, in Henwick Road, St John's, will highlight prose and poetry written by people who either have a connection with Worcester-shire, Herefordshire and Gloucestershire or the three counties are the subject of their work.
Robin Davidson, the church's organist, who will also be one of the readers at the event, is co-ordinating the evening.
"I have been involved in this type of event in the past, though not in Worcester, and they have proved to be very successful," said Mr David-son."There is usually something for everybody in them."
The event is due to take place on Saturday, June 11, from 7.30pm. Tickets will be available at the door at a cost of £4 or £3 for concessions.
The money raised from the evening will go towards funds for St Clement's Church.
