THE skies above Stourport-on-Severn will come alive with colour on Sunday, June 5, with the return of a hugely successful kite festival.
The event has been organised by Wyre Forest District Council and Team RIKOK (Really Interesting Kites of Kidderminster) and kites of all shapes and sizes will be taking flight on the riverside.
There will be displays throughout the day as well as trade stands offering the latest equipment and advice.
The event will also have a bouncy castle, a children's play area, amusements and refreshments. There will also be live music, from the 60s cover band Move It.
The Wyre (previously ACE FM) will be entertaining the crowds with music, competitions and live kite flying commentary.
The free festival is open between 11am to 5pm and is aimed at everyone, from kite flying novices to experts.
