MALVERN Hills youngsters were some of the 1,000 plus athletes that took part in the Worcestershire All Sports Partnership (WASP) Youth Games held at Nunnery Wood Sports Complex.

Sunday's event was the seventh and featured athletes of the future aged between 10 and 16 years representing their districts at a variety of sports.

Although the Malvern Hills district failed to win any of the events, they did pick up the fair play awards in three events, the mixed U11 athletics, the U13 boys' basketball and the U14 girls' football.
