SEVENTEEN cribbage teams in Malvern have been battling it out over the past six weeks for the Brian Shayler Memorial Team Challenge.
The outcome was decided on the very last game with Malcolm Mason winning 3-0 to give Bob & Bob the title by one point over RSRE.
Kevin Mansbridge from RSRE was awarded the best singles average throughout the competition.
More than £230 has been raised for The Meningitis Trust and will be added together with the raffle monies collected at this year's Brian Shayler Individual Challenge, which is open to Royal Mail employees.
This event will take place on Sunday, July 3, at the Cross Keys. Thirty-two entries have already received been from Bristol, Reading, Oxford, Salisbury, Southampton and Malvern.
