TRANSFER-listed striker Christian Moore looks poised to leave Worcester City after one season at the club.

The contracted 32-year-old is set to undergo talks with two clubs that have both made enquiries for his services.

City's player-manager Andy Preece made Moore available for transfer at the end of last season to try and free up funds for new summer signings.

"We've received inquiries from two clubs that are interested in signing Christian," said Worcester chairman Dave Boddy.

"One of them is from Nationwide North rivals and one from a UniBond Premier Division club. They are both talking to us at the moment.

"Christian is in the process of speaking to both clubs. Things may develop a week or so down the line."

Derby-based Moore endured a miserable first year at St George's Lane following his move from the now defunct Telford United.

He failed to make a single start after rupturing anterior cruciate ligaments to his right knee last September, which required an operation and lengthy rehabilitation.

Moore now finds himself at the back of the striking pecking order. Adam Webster and Leon Kelly are the club's front-line partnership, while veteran Preece and James Smith are first and second choice replacements.

Boddy added: "He's got a contract with us until next season and Andy has made it clear that there's no pressure for him to go. But from Christian's view, this gives him an opportunity to move on and play regular football."
