AFTER a favourable last match result last Wednesday, Malvern Rangers have finished in third position in the West Midlands division two table.
Second-placed Cresswell Wanderers defeated Ellesmere Rangers 3-2 and as a consequence Rangers have held onto third place.
It is now possible, as Eccleshall have resigned from division one, that Rangers could be promoted, although it is also possible that Ludlow Town Reserves, who finished second from the bottom in that division above Bromyard Town Reserves, retain their place.
Rangers' playing record was played 32, won 23, drawn 2, lost 7, goals for 99, against 55, points 71.
Rangers hold their presentation evening on Friday, June 3, at the home of their main sponsor, The Cross Keys Inn.
