UPTON mayor John Thompson will present two staff at Upton Marina with training awards.
John Izod and Alwyn Williams will be given their marina operative awards on Saturday, June 4.
The pair successfully completed a course aimed at professional staff such as dock masters, berthing and mooring administrators covering all aspects of the business.
Both men live in Upton and have worked at the marina for more than 10 years.
Meanwhile, the Severn Narrowboat Weekend takes place at the marina from tomorrow (Saturday)to Bank Holiday Monday. The event is for anyone interested in buying or selling a boat.
