The duplicate bridge drive last Tuesday raised £360 for St Michael's Hospice, which was a wonderful effort.

The parish council will be holding the annual Parish Meeting on Tuesday (May 31), at 7.30pm in the memorial hall. After the chairman's report for the year, the topic for discussion will be the Neighbourhood Watch Scheme. Alison Dore, our community support officer will join us to help re-launch the scheme for the village. Do come and add your voice and ideas to this discussion, as our community is reliant on the goodwill and watchfulness of neighbours, with so many houses being secluded or isolated. The scheme seems to have lapsed somewhat over the past couple of years, and it is to the advantage of us all to give it a new lease of life,

The next meeting of the parish plan steering group will be on Tuesday, June 14, and by then every house should have received a questionnaire. If extra copies are needed for members of the family contact Fanny Underhill on 640745. Keep a note of the number on each copy - there will be draw for the winning number with a prize later in the summer.

This project is supported by Herefordshire Council's Small Projects Fund via the Herefordshire Partnership.
