Work goes on apace at Corse and Staunton Playing Fields for the Living Spaces project, as you can see when passing along the A417 Gloucester to Ledbury Road, with the new fencing now in place. In the autumn, the hedge will be re-planted. The committee thanks both Fred and Richard Priday for their very professional manner they have carried out their work at the same time keeping costs low.
The timing was perfect for the Countryside weekend organised by Corse Parochial Church Council in aid of St Margaret's Church, with the surrounding apple orchards in full bloom. The church had been delicately decorated with country flowers and blossom for the weekend of events including a Concert of Country Songs with Ruth and Pat Briddon.
A CAR boot sale takes place at Upton Primary School tomorrow (Saturday), at 10am. The event has been organised by the Friends of the school and will raise funds for their latest project, www.classroom.
