PRODUCTION capacity for trellis panels at a Clows Top sawmill has been more than doubled with investment in new state-of-the-art machinery.
Gardening specialist, M&M Timber, has seen output rise to record levels as a result of heavy demand from the retail industry.
A new, automated system for assembling and fastening up to 750 panels a day has been installed at the company's Hunt House Sawmills premises.
Managing director, Nigel Poyner, said: "We now have the capacity to meet the normally challenging high volume contracts on time and without any compromise on quality control."
The company supplies many of the major garden centres around the UK.
