MEMBERS joined Wolverley for the May meeting in Wolverley Church hall, when the resolutions were presented by WI adviser Marjory Whiting, with the resultant vote to be taken to the Royal Albert Hall in June.

Mrs Whiting had taken along jewellery and greetings cards, made by herself and Moya Jones respectively at Denman College courses.

There were plants for sale.

A few members plan to go to Hartlebury Castle on June 24 to hear "Music for a Summer Evening" featuring the Dadelson Trio.

Lists will be sent round for names for the August tea parties to celebrate the 90th anniversary of WI, and for the annual council meeting in Stourport on October 25, when Paul Whittaker will be guest speaker.

The meeting on June 13 at Drumart House, Cookley, starting at 7.15pm will be a members' evening.
