MIDLANDS rivals Worcestershire and Warwickshire will warm-up for this season's Twenty20 Cup with a match in the short-form version of the sport.
The sides will use the game at Moseley's Streetsbrook Road ground in Solihull on Monday, June 20 (5.30pm), as a dress rehearsal for their meeting in the opening Twenty20 clash of the season at New Road two days later.
The match will be played under Twenty20 regulations at a ground that has regularly staged Warwickshire Second XI matches.
Both sides are expected to be at full strength for the game, which will raise funds for Warwickshire all-rounder Dougie Brown's benefit.
Brown, who has played one-day internationals for both England and Scotland, joined Warwickshire in 1990 and was a key member of the county squad that won six trophies between 1993 and 1995.
He was also ever-present in their Championship-winning side last summer.
