CHRIS Morris, from Kidderminster, beat his own personal best coarse fish catch when he landed a 31lb 8oz catfish with trout on the Gainsborough Lake at Shatterford Fishery.

On the same lake, two anglers from Far Forest were successful - Phil Coles caught two catfish to 25lb 8oz, and Dave Coles caught a 19lb grass carp, both using boilies.

Another angler landed a 33lb catfish on halibut pellet.

On the Erics Lake, a mint 18lb mirror fell to boilies, nine carp to 18lb 8oz were taken on a boilie, and anglers from Rhyl caught a catfish of 33lb 4oz and four carp to 16lb on pellets, and a 25lb 8opz catfish and 4lb 8oz eel on trout.

Good bags of bream are being produced on the Stuarts, with carp to 16lb and catfish to 19lb caught on meat and worms.

On the trout scene, four fish to 2lb 8oz were caught on the Stella with a hawthorn fly.

The Wyre Dell saw five trout to 1lb 8oz taken on an olive nymph, and a 2lb 4oz rainbow caught with an orange lure.
