ROTORSTOCK II at the Shakespeare County Raceway this weekend is shaping up to be a top class multi-format event for all Japanese Perfor-mance car enthusiasts.
Sponsored by one of the Far East marque's leading publications 'Japanese Performance', and organised by the mazdarotaryclub.com, the event will once again be based around the Long Marston quarter-mile drag strip but there will be some important changes aimed at making it a top-level event for Jap car petrol-heads.
Hosted by the Mazda Rotary Club, the main drag strip will be available for 'Run What Ya Brung' timed runs for the second round of the raceway's 'Jap Racer' series as well as an autotest circuit, drifting demonstrations by Drift Works, a mobile dyno, and scaled down racing from radio controlled model cars.
Part of Rotorstock and a big draw for spectators is the 'Japanese Street Fighter Shootout with RWYB classes for cars with road tyres and purely drag race tyres where you can expect to see some of the big names rumble up the strip in their mega-powered Jap performance cars.
Cost of admission has been red-uced and it now costs just £10 for Sunday's action and £12 for Monday with free admission to under-16s.
