OUR recent Mayor of Worcester deserves the warm thanks of the people of Worcester for the way in which he conducted himself during his year in office. I doubt that anyone has worked harder at representing the city and providing a wholehearted welcome to visitors. His regular column in the Worcester News was always refreshing to read and his enthusiasm for promoting the city near and far was very apparent.
