CONGRATULATIONS to Councillor Allah Ditta and his wife Naseem on a fantastic year as Mayor and Mayoress of Worcester.
They worked very hard for the city and I praise and thank them for that. I would like to say a special thanks for supporting events in my ward of St John, Worcester.
One of their first engagements was to join me at a band concert in Cripplegate Park to welcome back the re-furbished fountain.
It was a great start to the civic year. By attending so many events together they did so much for race relations. Well done.
