RE: The letter from Arthur Bridle (Advertiser, May 11). I am staggered at the stupidity shown by your contributor.
He evidently is completely unaware that I have never represented Catshill. He should address his complaints to the Conservative county councillor for the area. I agree that Catshill is lacking in some ways but not more so than other areas and he omits to tell us where the finances are to come from. Is he prepared to pay a swinging increase in council tax?
I suggest that before he dashes into print again he should take notice: "It is better to keep your mouth shut and let people think you're a fool, than open it and leave them in no doubt."
