AMANDA Purcell took the Ladies' Club Championship for the third year in a row at Gaudet Luce Golf Club, near Droitwich Spa.
In her last year as a junior, Purcell fired a record-equalling gross round score of 73 which was one over-par.
The Droitwich teenager cut her handicap to five, impressing with a new set of clubs after her golf bag was stolen from a Gloucestershire club several weeks ago.
She had originally not expected the new clubs for six to eight weeks, but Callaway took pity on the Worcestershire senior and junior team player and they arrived early.
Purcell is studying a national diploma in sports studies and has been offered a place at university to study sports psychology.
But the 17-year-old hopes to take a year out and improve her golf to see where it leads her.
