CHILDREN from Bromsgrove and Droitwich excelled at the Worcestershire Youth Games on Sunday.
Over 1,000 children from all over the county competed in the tournament, organised by the Worcestershire All Sports Partnership (WASP).
Wychavon won the under-14s girls football tournament and were presented with their trophy by Councillor Pam Davey, president of Wychavon District Council.
Bromsgrove and Wychavon's team also won the under-13s boys hockey tournament.
In the under-15s netball category Bromsgrove were also victorious.
Wychavon's mixed under-10s tennis team won their tournament, while Bromsgrove's Year 8 cricket side were also winners.
David Green, Sport England board member and University College Worcester Principal said: "The enthusiasm and commitment from all participants was extraordinary, and the level of performance was very high, this is a credit to the participants."
