Luke Milward, Morgan Davies, Kimberly Powell, Chantel Bird and Thomas Smith, along with their classmates at Malvern Hills Primary School, in Bluebell Close, have been studying miniature beasts this term.
As part of the project, teachers have set up a wormery so the youngsters can watch worms making tunnels.
"The children keep coming and having a look," said teacher Celia Rogers.
