MRS Olive Turner of Blockley recently organised a grand spring prize bingo at the Royal British Legion in Moreton.
A wonderful £1,000 was raised for the Gloucestershire Macmillan Nurse Appeal. Our grateful thanks to Mrs Turner, the management of the Royal British Legion, Mrs Pearl Heritage and everyone who supported so generously on the night. Donations provide the resources for much needed cancer care in the community and this donation is particularly appreciated at this time when Macmillan Cancer Relief in Gloucestershire is raising funds for specialist nurses in urology and head and neck cancers.
