IT'S been a profitable couple of weeks for the Evesham club who managed to string together a trio of league wins.

The Reds defeated Headliners 46-20 in the Worcester City League but it took them until the third quarter to assume control.

Good defence kept Evesham out but the passing improved and play was moved up the court far easier in the final two periods.

Goal attack Becky Giles was named the Vale side's player of the match.

Defence Hayley Woodcock was similarly rewarded after the Jades overcame Saracens Cubs in the same league.

The sides were separated by only three goals after the first half but Woodcock and Sharon Moxey upped the tempo to help overcome a spirited Saracens outfit.

The winners were also in Redditch League action when they faced defeated Lodge Park 51-43. Katie Reeves, Evesham's goal attack, was named player of the match.
