AT the April meeting I Nex spoke about Birmingham Botanical Gardens, from the acquisition of the land, through the development of gardens, to the building of glass houses for specimens, and current functions.

Travel arrangements were made for those entering the Sea World rally at Ramada Hotel, Bewdley. Irene Bonner is the delegate for the annual meeting in the Royal Albert Hall in June.
Members are asked to take part in the challenge of walking 90 miles (not all at once) to celebrate the founding of WI.
On Monday, members travel to Wolverley for the resolutions meeting.
