KIDDERMINSTER Chess Club's disappointing season continued when the Pawns suffered a 3.5-0.5 defeat at Droitwich in Division One of the Worcester and District League.
Dave Close held Droitwich's David Adshead, who has represented Redditch and Bromsgrove at a high level, to a draw.
