AN artist who paints portraits of pets is showing off her work this month.
Gill Leighton is Droitwich Library's Artist of the Month for May, and she has set up many of her works in the Library on Victoria Square.
Ms Leighton, who was born and brought up in Droitwich, has been an artist for 10 years.
She has set up an online portrait business for people who want to immortalise their pets in art, although her subjects are not limited to pets - she also does landscapes and people portraits.
Anyone wanting to see her art can visit the library between 9.30am and 5.30pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and between 9.30am and 4pm on Saturdays for the rest of the month.
