VERYTHING from dance classes to art workshops will be on offer at Malvern Theatres over the coming months as it hosts a series of educational events.

The venue, in the town's Grange Road, has just released its brochure of educational workshops for the summer season, which starts with an adult discussion workshop on Wednesday, June 8.

The session is based on the plays Hamlet and Waiting For Godot, which inspired Tom Stoppard's classic comedy, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead.

Dance classes for the over 55s are also running at the venue's Forum Theatre until Monday, April 23, at a cost of £25.

On Thursday, July 7, an art workshop will be held where participants will draw or paint aspects of the town from the Hills.

Three summer schools will also run throughout the school holidays for youngsters. The first is entitled Playing About, by the English Touring Theatre, from Monday, July 25 to Friday, July 29.

The session of drama games and exercises explores scenes of well-known plays.

The Angel Dance Co Lab's Dancefest Summer School will then run from Monday, August 1 to Friday, August 5.

And finally, the Malvern Theatre Players will host a week-long workshop on drama skills, set design, lighting and sound from Monday, August 8, to Friday, August 12.
